Never mind that I'm losing one shoe, I'm in a rock and roll mood!
Don't ask me which move this is though. :)
Believe it or not, I received this dress as a present when I was 12. I'm sure you have some relatives who only see you once a year. Well, mine must have thought I'm a proper, round adolescent girl. As the smallest in my class, I really didn't have the size and shape to fill in this dress... Till last year.
How many times does it happen though that you can wear one of your childhood dresses in your twenties? I'm enjoying it to the full!
I'm so happy to have found these steps! I loved the setting so much that taking these photos really cheered my day up - I'm feeling better about taking my own pictures now. :)
And I'm super happy with how this picture came out. For a change you can actually see my accessories properly. :)
For those of you who are interested in why I don't laquer my nails, it's beacuse of my job. I love polishes, but I draw and print, so the polish would be chipped in an hour and dissolved into oblivion in the next.
This is where I'm reminiscing about my teenage years. (I don't miss them, by the way.)
Dress: gift, Leggings: Chinese shop, Shoes: Vagabond, Belt and roses: H&M,
Bracelet: Takko, Earrings with feathers: C&A, Big ring: small boutique,

A wonderful dress! Love the color!

Thank you, Yvonne!
I don't remember if we have "met" before - could you link to your blog (if you have one) please so I can repay the visit? :)
Hello!! I really like your bracelet!! And that's so cool that you get to enjoy the dress even after a few years! The belt at the waist gives it a perfect fit!
Yeah, this belt features in every second post or something, it's the perfect accessory, really. :)
Your photo quality just skyrocketed, miss! They look fabulous and I love the perspective on your bracelet. I don't have any of my pre-teen/teen clothes anymore, but I'm trying to think of things I may have been able to wear now. If looks like it was made for you, now. Your relatives were just a bit ahead of the times!
Was it that bad before? (The typical self-conscious reaction to compliments, eh?) :)
The reason this dress kept so well is that I never used to wear it. Had I been able to, it would look a bit different now! :)
It's great that your dress fits you now because it is really beautiful. I love love the shape of it!
I also love your hair. I wanted to have a color like yours. Too bad I dyed my hair black and now I'm having a hard time changing it again.
Wow, I really thought your hair was naturally black! What's your original hair colour?
My hairdresser said my natural colour was "Budapest asphalt blonde". Nice. :)
Cute dress! Glad you were finally able to wear it after so many years :)
And very nice detail shot of the jewelry! I love close-ups (I'm sure you'd NEVER be able to tell that from looking at my blog, would you?)

Nonono! They were never bad, these just seem to have improved. I don't hang around blogs with photos I dislike. Gosh, take your compliments better, haha.
Ok, ok, I will, thanks. Just joking, anyway! :)
Hehe, thanks, Leanna! :)
You look so sweet, I am loving the clip in your beautiful hair. ♥

Addie, thank you! *blush* You're the sweetest! :)
Your dress is so pretty, the color is perfect. Also, you have great hair, it looks good in both styles!
Kallie, nice to see you!
Haha, my hair just doesn't want to stay up whatever I try, hence the two styles. :)
This is the most adorable dress :) I love the color and the little dots. I assume that I might be able to wear some of my twelve year old clothes if I still had them. My mom bought all of my clothes super big plus I haven't grown all that much anyhow. It's amazing being asian. haha. There are also such pretty pretty beads on your bracelet :)
Thanks Lea, actually the dress used to be a sort of buttery colour and we dyed it ages ago... I still didn't wear it for years afterwards though. :)
You really don't look small on your pictures! :)
such a cute dress! I don't have any of my childhood clothes any more but do frequently shop in the kids section!
You dress is still pretty cute! I'm glad that even after all this time you are still finding ways to style it.
Hi Brooke, welcome!
I frequently check out the jewellery in the kids' section, and have found some great stuff there... :)
Hey Lyddie, good to see you!
It's great to find forgotten gems in one's closet. I'm glad that altough I never used to wear this dress, I didn't throw it our either. :)
I love this dress. The color is fabulous on you and I love the other colors woven through.

I'm loving the fit & hue of that adorable dress. And I always love tights paired with dresses, lovely. xx veronika
