Illustrated Shoot - Hair Extravaganza

A word of warning: I enjoyed illustrating this post a bit too much.
Prepare for some shocking hairstyles! :)
hairblu

Who doesn't want a cloud of blue hair? I couldn't say no to my imagination.

hairp

Hot pink... As odd as it sounds from a girl who never had Barbies and flatly refused liking anything pink as a child, I think it actually suits me.

hairgr

As a teenager I wanted to dye my hair green. Seeing this I'm quite glad I didn't. :)

Fairytale hair, how wonderful it would be to have hair this huge!

hairred

This one is almost like my own hair... I have to say I'm keeping the red. :)

What sort of extreme hairstyle would you try out if you could wish for anything regardless of reality? :)

Wearing: Thrifted dress with a knotted crop top from Zara, Calzedonia tights,
Vagabond shoes and Primark headband.

Oh, my blog now has a Facebook page.
Do come and have a look, that's where the party is!

How clever! And cute. The hairstyles are very attractive.

In answer to your question, I've learned how to play with hair in a way separate from reality -- wigs! You pop 'em on and suddenly everything changes. I bought a new, longer one recently which delights me every time I wear it. You should try one!

So cool. I love the big blue curls in the first one! The red in the last photo really does look the best though. I don't think green would have suited you. I always wanted pink hair, a little pink pixie cut. I never took the plunge but I've been REALLY tempted lately.

haha, looks like you had a lot of fun with this one - i love the fairytale hair!

As soon as I stop working at Starbucks I will try out an extreme hairstyle, so hopefully I'll have a chance to show you. (: Anyway, you had WAY too much fun with this post, I must say. (:

I love it, the pink is my favorite :)

First time visitor here, and I have to say, I love this! The red is my favorite but the fairytale hair is so dramatic and fun too! The knotted tee over the dress is really fun, well done!

Oh I love these! So cool!

I tend to experiment with my haircuts in reality, too, but I guess if consequences weren't an issue, I'd play with hairdye. I've been stuck with my own colour for a long time - not that there is anything wrong with it, it's fine - but there are times when I just curse my hairtype, because no hairdye sticks to it and my hair turns green in a week or so. All of the hairdressers I've consulted have been totally perplexed by it, they've never seen anything like it. I guess I am just a weirdo. Anyway, back to the question: I'd definitely go red if I could!

I love this. What a fun way to see how you'd look with different colored hair. I love the pink on you, but agree that you're a fabulous redhead.

If my hair weren't so dark, I would have dyed it multiple colors multiple times. As it is, I fantasize about really edgy hairstyles, like with shaved sides and whatnot.

This is so much fun! And the outfit if very cute. Liking the hot pink! I have always wanted to dye my hair blue or purple. Once my hair goes grey/white it is happening for sure.

The illustrations are so cool. I would love to have big cotton candy pink hair.

Beehive, no doubt. They all look quite smashing on you, though!

This is hilarious! I actually like the green hair (but green is my favorite color). I vote for pink though. Blue starts to fade to gray...Thanks for visiting my blog and saying hi back!

Thanks! I'd love to try some wigs but I don't think I'd be able to afford them. Something I'd love to try out is a Marilyn Monroe look! One day! :)

Madeline Quaint said...

Hmm, sounds great! Pink pixie!

Madeline Quaint said...

I did, I played with these for 4 hours. :D

Madeline Quaint said...

Yay, I'm looking forward to that! :)

Madeline Quaint said...

Yeah, it wouldn't be too bad in real life! :)

Thanks Cara! :)

Sorry about your hair colouring troubles, I'm sure you're not a weirdo though. :) It must be hormones... I always dye my hair with the same dye, but it turns out differently if I dye at differents points of my cycle! Sometimes I'm almost blonde...

Madeline Quaint said...

Shaved sides are really cool, Gracey! It would be a very different look for you, defiinitely!

Madeline Quaint said...

That's a great idea, changing your hair colour to something extreme for old age! I'll try to remember this! :D

Madeline Quaint said...

Sounds great! :)

Madeline Quaint said...

I actually did a beehive one too, but I didn't like it enough to post it. :)

Madeline Quaint said...

Good to know if I ever try! :)

Madeline Quaint said...

I know, I am too. :D

Madeline Quaint said...

Thanks Julie! Lucky I'm actually a redhead then, right? :)

Thanks! :) I feel a bit too self-obsessed even taking pics of myself, so I'm not sure I'd decorate my walls with myself though. :)

Yay! Disqus works again on my computer! So I tried leaving you a comment for days now! Here it is, finally.

I concider beeing a ginger as rad enough, haha. Besides, If I want to dye my hair I have to bleach it and that would be disastrous! I love the red one the most too :) but all the illustrations are amazing! I love how you do these :) and I just LOVE that dress as well! x

Glad your computer decided to work with Disqus after all! :)
