More Snow

PICT0275cas

For a change, there is something to look and wonder at by the window - it's been snowing again!
I'm a winter child and cannot get bored by snow. I'm always amazed when it falls, the flakes never cease to amaze me, whether they are fluffy and heavy, or small and crystal-like.

I will never forget when I first realised snowflakes look like tiny flowers, standing in the sandpit in nursery school. It's one of my first memories and sense of awe I felt then will remain with me forever.

We took a walk by a small lake today and saw this mini-snowman, perfect in every detail!

This dress was soooo cheap, probably because nobody else thought it was actually wearable... The collar remind me of snowflakes. :)

Wearing: Invázió dress, thrifted hat, Topshop skirt (an actual pregnancy item),
random leggings, Docs.

The view from your window is amazing! It has only snowed for one day here this season, and for me, that's enough! I'm not a fan of the snow. Only when I can stay inside, not when I have to make the 40km drive to college and be there on time to make my exams!! x

I'm so jealous, I want snow too! The German winter has been so disappointing so far :(

Anyway, you look lovely with this shirt and quirky hat! You have a thing for these types of collars, no? It reminds me of your "dead black bird" dress, which I love as well! :)

i have to say i'm definitely a summer person over a winter person, but i also never really experience snow very often as it doesn't snow in sydney, but maybe i'd like it a bit more if i saw for half of the year at a time!

the floral top looks great on you, it match the hat really well. and the snowman is pretty cute. for some reason seeing random snowmans on streets make me smile, some people they try to make the best of winter unlike me lol

Love that vintage hat! And I am so jealous of your snow - I love watching snow fall out the window, though I know I'd be terrified to live (drive) in it.

Clearly your college is too far for you to enjoy snow. :) It's stressful to drive when the roads are slippery...

You've got a great eye for this! I got this dress at the same place, about a month later, so it's the sister of the dead bird dress. :) Interestingly nobody snapped them up in that timeframe... :D

On tattoos: I'd love to design my own! So many ideas though! I'm hooked on the whole tattoo thing, keep watching LA Ink and all the rest. :)

Hey, thank you for your visit! :)
Winter is great - for about 3 months, and then you're even happier when spring comes!:)

Yeah snowmen always make me smile too! I haven't built any in years though... Next year!:)

The good thing about driving in snow is that it slows traffic down and makes people pay more attention - the bad is when it sorta melts and then turns into ice... Now that's terrifying! Luckily it never gets that far in the city!

Hey again! ;)

No my cardigan is from C&A's plus size autumn/winter line 2012 - maybe if you're lucky they still have some pieces left in the sale now?!

Happy Sunday! :)

I miss the snow! We have hardly had a dusting all winter :( I would love to be able to build a snowman again. I think that dress is really pretty and the hat is perfect :]

It was a great winter for snow, we even had snow at Christmas! We haven't had a white Christmas since I was very little. :)
