The Sea, The Sea

PICT0071cas

So my dear friends, I've been away. Here...

PICT0163cas

I went to England to see my Boyfriend, who works there at the moment, and we spent most of the time just absorbing the presence of the sea. Looking through the pictures in wintry Budapest, I hardly believe I had been there...

This time I didn't dare getting into the ice cold sea, though my Boyfriend went in a good few times! That's him!

What amazes me is the scope of the Atlantic. How enormous things can be!

And when you look through the rock pools, how tiny...

That's the magic of the seaside.

Oh, and the sunsets...

It's almost impossible to believe that this beauty exists, and that I had the chance to experience it. How wonderful the Atlantic is in the winter!

Beautiful photos! Happy to hear you were able to visit - and he's crazy for getting in that cold water! :)

Thank you for looking through them! :)

I know, he's mad when it comes to water! But it's a very lovable madness. :)

I haven't been to the coast in over a year and I really want to go, especially after seeing your lovely photos.

Madeline Quaint said...

Oh, go if you can! Seeing the sea is one of the best things you can do. :)

How lovely. Sounds like you had a fantastic time. :)

You live that far apart!? oooh? I could not imagine! The coasts of england are amongst the most beautiful in the worls I think :) along with Australia! and probably Norwegia too :) x

Madeline Quaint said...

It's beautiful there! :)

Not all the time though, so it's not a proper long-distance relationship. :)

I'll need to visit all of these coastlines so I could compare them. Strictly for scientific reasons. Not. :)

What gorgeous photos! Long distance relationships are tough, but hang in there. My husband and I dated long distance for 4 years before finally ending up in the same city. It was so hard but so worth it in the end :)

Those beaches actually remind me a lot of the Oregon coast here. Very beautiful!

My God! This is so beautiful! I love the seaside when it's cold (and rainy). Looks like a good trip, glad you enjoyed it. xx

Madeline Quaint said...

Wow, 4 years! You must both be very patient people! :)
We aren't always living apart, so it's a much easier type of long-distance. And I'm sure it's worth it!

Madeline Quaint said...

Oh, nice! I'll have to visit Oregon too then! :)

Madeline Quaint said...

I'm so glad you like the pictures! It was wonderful!

Beautiful photos! Oh yes, I love sunsets by the sea, there's nothing better! I can't wait to see the sun set over the rough Irish sea on my holiday there next year :)

P.S. Guess what? Yesterday I drank a glass of Tokaj to think back to my lovely time in Budapest. MMhh Tokaj, so good :)

Haha, the sea there is ice cold even in the summer! :)

I know, it's freezing even in the summer, but then at least the air is warm. :)
