Green Birthday

I'm green, regardless of the years that pass me by. Oh well, that's what I'm like.

This past week I've survived the extraction of my last remaining wisdom tooth, so I can also add that instead of gaining wisdom over time, I rather lose it. :)

Anyway, I'm so happy my face is almost back to its normal size after a short detour to looking like a chipmunk, and then the Godfather, that I'll show you what I'm wearing on my birthday! :)

So many lovely blog friends have their birthdays in December, happy birthday again to those who already celebrated them and to those who will, in advance!

Wearing: Leather skirt: Second hand, Blouse: Jeans Club, Boots: Doc Martens,
Leather bag: Deichmann, Earrings: C&A, Scarf: My Mum's, random tights,
Essence nail polish (this time only one glittery layer:).

I've seen this before...

I've worn the same thrifted leather skirt in May at the festival for "pálinka", the Hungarian fruit brandy. You can read more about it if you click through here!

Thank you! :) I've long stopped wondering about aging, I'll always feel I'm about 8 years old anyway. :)

Green looks good on you. And I have a wisdom tooth extracted last month too, so I sympathize with your pain.

I love your boots, and your scarf is such a beautiful sea-foamy green, one of my favorite colours! I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Again, happy birthday! Also, you look lovely in green--I think it has something to do with your stunning hair and complexion. I have never had a tooth removed and I hope to never know your pain!

I love that whole outfit! Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday Madeline! I hope your mouth is feeling lots better soon. I think that losing a wisdom tooth just means there's more room in your mouth to put important things, like candy ;)

Beautiful! Happy birthday and I must say I LOVE double windows like those. I don't know if they are useful but sure pretty and nostalgic. Wisdom tooth is a pain indeed, never had the trouble myself, at least not that terrible but I feel your misery for sure. xx

Wishing you a very happy birthday dear. The green colour suits you well. Out with the wisdom teeth, and in with a future of clever delights.

That's why I'm so affraid of dentists! Two years ago my face looked huge for a week and I couldn't eat anything, it was awful!

Anyway, the happiest birthday dear Madeline :) You look really lovely on green!

Glad you healed just in time for your special day!

Thank you Ipek! :)
Double glazed windows are useful, except when they're as old as ours. This is my boyfriends flat in a house built in 1924 and the windows haven't been changed since! How cool that they still work? I love them but they let the air in a little. :)

Happy Birthday! Sorry to hear you are losing wisdom rather than gaining it, but I'm sure it's a great feeling to never have to worry about the wisdom teeth again. I know I was happier just to have my dentist stop nagging me, haha.

Love you birthday look - Hope it's a great year!

Ooh I missed it, happy belated birthday to you!! :)
Oh my I've been down this wisdom teeth road too last year, I hated it, it's such a relief when it's finally over so I can totally relate to that.
I'm glad it's over for you now!

Oh wow there is a palinka festival? I wish I would have been there because since I tried it the first time this summer I really like it, especially the plum version! Hm I still have a bottle of apricot palinka in stock here, maybe I should open it for Christmas :)
