Love Story

I'm so sad here, guys, look:

It's all because this random guy on the street left me.

Oh, the drama!
But it didn't last long.

I'm quite aware this t-shirt reads PINK. I also think it's there for the benefit of the colour-blind and possibly has nothing to do with the pop-star under the same name. However, I like to believe it just reads INK, and if I turn slightly to the side, that's exactly what you see. As a lover of illustration and any sort of ink that I can doodle or print with, I think I deserve an INK t-shirt. Until it arrives I will always turn a little when I wear this top.

Another love-lorn look for good measure.

Top: Zara, Cardigan: Terranova (ancient), Skirt: thrifted,
Shoes: Deichmann, Belt: H&M (yes, the same one again, I'm hooked, sorry...),
7 Roses: H&M, Necklace: Jojó Art Shop.

HAHA, your "drama" photos made me laugh so hard! And I make it a point to try not to LOL (especially when I'm blog-reading in a public place) He's so stupid to walk away, you don't need him! ;)
PS, your outfit is amazing! I want the flower-stuff in your hair!

The flowers in your hair are just dreamy. I love big, bold hair details! That skirt is really great, too. I like the subtle detail on the fabric.

Lyddie, thank you so much for visiting! Funnily enough I saw the very same skirt a month later in another thrift shop. The same size too! (I didn't get it again.:)

Maya, thanks! I still have to perfect my posing. :P The flowers are 7 different hairpins, but I ended up piling all of them on. :)

Sarah, thank you too! The skirt is actually two layers, the upper one only lace. Next time I will take close-ups of it... I wear it a lot. :)

Hello!! Oooh I really like the flowers in your hair, and the contrast it creates! Plus the skirt is sooo nice, I've seen a lot of lace around blogs lately, so I'm going to find a little lace-y something hehe!
Saludos!! ;)

Hey, world traveller! :)

Yeah, lace is one of the trends that really got me hooked... Probably because of my fascination with antique laces. This skirt is more 90s than 1690s, but I still love it. :)

what a pretty floral headband!

Thank you so much Veronika, so nice of you to stop by! The flowers are actually 7 different hairpins not really meant to be worn together. They felt a bit heavy by the evening, but it was worth it. :)

So nice :) I love the lacy skirt. Especially since skirts are the only thing I actually need right now. I saw some awesome ones in J. Crew the other day when I went, so the lacy tulle ones are at the forefront of my mind right now. I need hair flowers! :)

Seriously. Don't worry about the favorites post thing. I swear I read your email. And then just kept putting things off. Hehe.

I know Lea, this lace trend got me hooked...

Flower pins similar to these crop up in H&M from time to time, I always get the new colours. :)

OK, I won't worry! :)
